The Recurrence pattern dialog is used to set the recurrence properties for Appointments and Tasks.
Start - sets the time that the Appointment begins.
End - sets the time that the Appointment ends. Changing the end time changes the duration of the appointment.
Duration - sets the amount of time the Appointment will last. Changing the duration changes the end time of the appointment relative to the start time.
This section is used to specify the frequency of the recurring event being entered. On this page you can select to a create daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly task or appointment. The recurrence pattern pane includes Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly settings.
Daily - repeats the task or appointment at the daily interval specified; for example, every other day.
Weekly - repeats the task or appointment on the specified days at the selected weekly interval.You may select days of the week when the task or appointment will appear.
Monthly - repeats the task or appointment on a specified day of the month, at a specified monthly interval or repeats the task or appointment on a particular week, on a specific day of the week, at a specified monthly interval; for example, the third Tuesday, every three months, etc.
Yearly - repeats the task or appointment on a specified day of a specified month. Repeats the task or appointment on a particular week, on a specific day of the week, of the specified month; for example, the first Monday in May.
Monthly and Yearly option gives you the ability to select either the exact date when the task or appointment will appear (e.g. 15, 24) or day of months ( the 3rd Saturday in May, fourth Thursday in November, etc.).
Start - specifies the start date of the task or appointment.
No end date- repeats the task or appointment infinitely.
Ends by - a date for the last occurrence of the repeating task or appointment.
Remove recurrence - stops the recurring task or appointment.
