Print Page Setup

On Print Preview window, select File, Page Setup from the menu, this method activates the Page Setup dialog to allow you to specify the following attribute of a printed page:

  1. Size and source
  2. Orientation and width of page margins.

The Page Setup Dialog allows you to customize different attributes of report pages: page margins, page size, etc. The Page Setup Dialog allows you to adjust page setup dialog attributes according to your needs.

Use the Orientation to determine whether to display pages vertically or horizontally.

Use the Margins to define margins of a page. These margins cannot be less than min margins specified by the program. All margins are specified in thousandths of measurement units. For example, if you choose to use inches as your units of measurement, then setting the left margin to 1000 will set the left margin to one inch.

If your setting has problem, eReminder will hint you:

One or more margins are set to the invalid values.
Choose the Fix button to correct this problem.
Choose the Restore button to restore original values.

Use the Header to determine the height of a report header.

Use the Footer to determine report footer height.

Use the Scaling to specify the manner in which a report is scaled. Scaling includes adjust, fit.

1. Adjust Use Adjust to set the desired percentage value of a report page. This method of adjusting report pages takes time - you have to manually select the right percentage value to design a really elegant layout.

2. Fit Use Adjust to simply fit a report inside a page either by width or height. You do not need to try different percentages to adjust a report page for printing.

Note:

Orientation specifies the layout of the page, not the paper.
