Notes

Notes are the electronic equivalent of paper sticky notes. Use notes to jot down questions, ideas, reminders, and anything you would write on note paper. You can leave notes open on the screen while you work. This is especially convenient when you're using notes for storing bits of information you may need later, such as directions or text you want to reuse in other items or documents.

How to use this view:

In the main toolbar, you can add, edit, or delete entries and refresh the contents of the Note View. In the tool bar of Note View, you can copy and paste a selected item and search the notes table. In the table part, you can select any item, and edit item with the popup menu.

To add a new note:
  1. Select Category, General, Notes from the menu (or click the General, Notes from the Navigator), then click the New button on the top toolbar (or click the New Note item on the pop menu). 
  2. Input the text or description of the note in the Note window.
  3. Click the icon in the upper-right corner of the Note window to close the note.

To modify a note:

  1. Select Category, General, Notes from the menu (or click the General, Notes from the navigator).
  2. Click the note entry you want to modify, it will pop up a note window which shows the contents of this note.
  3. Modify if necessary, after modifying, click the OK button.

To delete a note:

  1. Select Category, General, Notes from the menu (or click the General, Notes from the navigator).
  2. Select an item from the note table by clicking it.
  3. Delete if necessary, click the Delete button.

Change the color of the current note

Click the Color column of the selected entry from the note table, select the color you want from the drop down list. Or, in the Note entry window, point to Color on the context menu, and then click the color you want.
