Holidays

A Holiday may be any legal holiday, national holiday, custom holiday you just thought up.

The Holidays view provides some default holidays. If your holidays aren't on the list you can use add/edit function to add or delete them here.

What's more, holidays view provides an important feature, it can add the selected holiday to your appointment.

The following table explains the details of each fields.

*Name Sets the name of the holiday (up to 255 characters).
Region Sets region of the holiday.
Date Sets date of the holiday.

To add a holiday:

  1. Click Tools, Holidays from the Navigator (or select Category,Tools, Holidays from the menu).
  2. Click the New button on the main toolbar (or click the New Holiday item on the context menu).
  3. In the Add Holiday Entry dialog, input the holiday's Name (up to 255 characters).
  4. Select a region of the holiday from the drop-down list or input a new region in the Region box. The new region you input will be added to Regions list automatically.
  5. Set the recurring frequency in the Recurrence Pattern box if necessary.

To add holidays to appointment

  1. Click Tools, Holidays from the Navigator (or select Category, Tools, Holidays from the menu).
  2. Select one or multiple holidays from the list on the right side.
  3. Click Add to Appointment button on the tool bar or select the Add to Appointment on the context menu.
  4. A confirmation dialog will pop up if the operation is successful.

To modify or delete a holiday:

  1. Click Tools, Holidays from the Navigator (or select Category, Tools, Holidays from the menu).
  2. Select the holiday entry from the list on the right side.
  3. To modify it, click the Edit button. In the Edit Holiday Entry dialog, modify the information of this holiday and then click the Ok button to save your modification.
  4. To delete it, click the Delete button.

Hints:

The fields marked with * are required fields. When adding a new entry, you must fill something in these fields.
To select more than one items in an entry list, you can press the Ctrl key down first and then click the items by mouse one by one.
