This wizard guides you step by step through the process of synchronizing data from the database of Microsoft Project Server to eReminder. The selected tasks from Microsoft Project Server will be added to eReminder as new tasks or new appointments, which is determined by your settings.

This wizard only can be used after you are granted the access right of reading the database of Microsoft Project Server. |
|
|
If you don't have the database access right, you can export data from Project Server to a Project file first and then use Sync from Microsoft Project MPP File Wizard to integrate from MPP file to eReminder. |

Before starting Sync from Microsoft Project Server Wizard, please access the Preferences page to configure the synchronization settings.
There are several methods to start this wizard:

Click Sync from Microsoft Project Server Wizard from the Welcome page. |
|

Click Sync from MSP from the navigator. |
|
|
Click Sync from MSP from tool bar. |
Please read the information in this page, and make sure the correct wizard is selected. To continue, please click the Next button.
In this step, please make sure you have the database access right for the Project Server. Otherwise, you can not continue this wizard.

| Project Server | The server's name where the Project Server database is located. |
| Database | The database name for your Project Server. |
| Use trusted login based on your Windows user | If this item is checked, the Windows user name and password will be used to login to the Project Server database, and the following User and Password fields will be disabled. Or, you must enter a user name and password in the following fields to login to the Project Server database. |
| User | Your login account to access the database of Project Server. |
| Password | Password for the login account. |
Click the Test Connection... button to verify whether the database information and login information your entered is correct. If it prompts "Connection is successful", click the Next button to continue. Or, check the information you entered and make sure the database exists.
1. Choose a project from the Project Name drop down list where all project names included in the Project Server are contained.
2. Choose a resource from the Resource Name drop down list, where all resource names assigned to the project you selected are listed.
3. Click the Next button to continue.
In this step, all tasks included in the project you select and assigned to the resource you choose are listed in a grid. You can select one or more tasks you want to synchronize to eReminder by checking the most left check boxes of each entries.

To select all tasks listed in the grid, you can click the Select All button. |

| Start Date | The day and time when the task is planned to start from. |
| Due Date | The day and time when the task is planned to be complete. |
| Task Name | Name of the task, which will be shown as subject of eReminder Task/Appointment when the import process is complete. |
| Notes | Notes of the task, which will be shown in the Body field associated with the eReminder Task/Appointment when the import process is complete. |

Behind each column name ,there are two arrow buttons. The first one is used to sort the tasks ascending or descending. The second one is used to filter the tasks by contents of this column. Click the down arrow button, then select an item listed in the popup menu to display only the tasks with the same feature. For advanced filter, please click the [Custom...] item. |

Press the Shift key and then left-click mouse to highlight multi entries. The right-click mouse and select the Flag As Selected in the context menu to select all the highlighted entries. |
This step is the actual action of integration. The integration process and the final result will be shown in the memo area and the log page.
Click the Complete button to finish.

The task name, start date, finish date notes are the only fields imported from Microsoft Project Server to eReminder. Other task information of Microsoft Project Server, such as percent complete, are not imported. |
