If the assignment or task is not recurring, then the reminder will happen just one time in the specified reminder time. If the assignment or task is recurring, then the reminder will happen periodically in the specified time according to the pattern you specified in the recurrence.
In Reminder Time part, fill in the notification time.
In Reminder Way, select the notification way you prefer to. Currently, Easy Tracker Reminder supports the following methods:

Pop up a notification: This is the default notification method and it is not allowed to be unchecked. This item indicates that a notification message box will appear to remind the task. |
|
|
Read notification content : The notification will be read as a reminder when the reminder time is due. You can customize the notification contents in Configuration Dialog. |
|
|
Popup an agent: A Microsoft Agent will pop up to read the notification when the reminder time is due. You can choose one agent from the following drop down list when you have selected this Reminder method. |
|
|
Send notification mails to : An notification email will be sent to the emails listed in the following box. You can input the email address to which you want the notification message to be sent. For multiple email addresses, please separate them by semicolon (;). To successfully use this notification method, please configure the email service in the Configuration Box. |
|
|
Play wave: Select this item and then choose a wave file in the following box. The selected wave file will be played automatically when the reminder time is due. |
|
|
Execute application: Once you select this item, the Execute box behind it will be enabled. You can select an application in the Execute box. This means the selected application will be started automatically when the reminder time is due. Or, you can choose an event from the Make box. This will make the event occur automatically when the reminder time is due. |

The following description will explain the details of Execute Application.
|
|
Log off - shuts down all running processes and logs the user off. |
|
|
Power off - shuts down the system and turns off the power. The system must support the power-off feature. |
|
|
Reboot - shuts down the system and then restarts it. |
|
|
Shutdown - shuts down the system to a point at which it is safe to turn off the power. All file buffers have been flushed to disk, and all running processes have stopped. |
Note: Make computer do something by force will force computer to do the activity, which may lose data not saved.
If you want to execute some application, you can specify any file that has been associated with an EXE application in fact. For example, if you have installed a media player that can play mp3 files, you can specify to execute a mp3 file; if you have installed Microsoft Word, you can specify to execute a word file; etc.
To remove a reminder, click the button of Remove Reminder.
