My Calendar

My Calendar provides two views to display time entries. One is Month View, and the other is Calendar View.

Month View

This view shows total effective work hours distribution in the current month by default.

There are several views to show time entries.

  1. Effective Time The data in a cell indicates the total effective time worked in a day. Effective Time = Total Time * Work Efficiency - Total Interrupt.
  2. Total Time The data in a cell indicates the total time worked in a day.
  3. Total Interrupt The data in a cell indicates the total interrupt time happen in a day.
  4. Total Efficiency The data in a cell indicates the total efficiency in a day. Total Efficiency = Effective Time / Total Time.

Select view in the tool bar to switch to your preferred view.

To display different project information, select a project from the project list-box.

To display all projects information, right-click the grid, select the action of Show All Projects.

Calendar View

This view displays time entries in calendar mode. The view is a container divided into the following sections:

the scheduling area is used to view time entries under various time views. The day, week, weeks, year and timegrid views, shown in the scheduling area, enable you to view your time entries in different arrangements and formats.
the Date Navigator pane is used to change the dates in the scheduling area. It provides a quick and easy way to change the dates in the scheduling area. It can be used to change views between day, week and weeks.

Calendar View provides a great convenience to adjust or enter a time entry.

To adjust a time entry

  1. Right click the scheduling area, select Switch to -> Day view in the popup menu, switch to Day view.
  2. Select the time entry you want to edit.
  3. Adjust the size (Duration) of time entry.
  4. To edit more fields of the time entry, double-click the time entry to bring up Edit Time Entry dialog. (For more detailed information, please refer to Add / Edit Time Entry.)

Note: do not adjust the part of one time entry to the area of another time entry. It is not allowed that two time entries share the same time interval.

To add a new time entry

  1. Right click the scheduling area, select Switch to -> Day view in the popup menu, switch to Day view.
  2. Select the date in Date Navigator.
  3. In the blank area of the scheduling area, use mouse to select a time section, right click and select New Time Entry in the popup menu.
  4. Fill in necessary information for the new time entry. (For more detailed information, please refer to Add / Edit Time Entry.)

Note: if some area of the scheduling area is occupied by one time entry, right click in such area, the option of New Time Entry will not available

How to use this view:

In the main tool bar, you can use the actions of Prior Span, Next Span to navigate different date range, and use Refresh action to refresh showing data. In the tool bar, you can select month and year.

Double-click the cell in the grid, you can view the detailed time entries in Time Log view.
