Create an all-day event

An event is an activity that lasts 24 hours or longer. Examples of an event include a trade show, the Olympics, a vacation, and a seminar. Usually, an event occurs once and can last for one day or several days, but an annual event, such as a birthday or anniversary, occurs yearly on a specific date.

To Add an all-day event:

  1. Select Category, General, Calendar from the menu (or click the General, Calendar from the navigator).
  2. Click the New All Day Event item on the context menu (or click the New, New All Day Event button on the top toolbar).
  3. In the New All Day Event Entry dialog, input the event name or brief description in the Subject box,.

The following steps are optional:

  1. In the Location box, input the location of the event.
  2. If the all-day event lasts longer than one day, change the values in the Start time and End time boxes.
  3. If you want to input other information of the all-day event, you may complete other boxes on the appointment tab.
  4. To change an event to a recurring event, click Recurrence and input recurrence information in the Add Recurrence dialog. And then click OK.
  5. Click Save and Close.

Tips:

In Day/Week/Month/Year view, you can quickly create an event by double-clicking the date heading of the day of the event.
