Import
& Export
eReminder QuickBooks Integration provides an easy way to import and
export between eReminder and QuickBooks, and it can be used in any version of QuickBooks
that supports the import/export feature.
Export
To import data in eReminder to to-dos in QuickBooks,
there are two major steps:
A. Export Tasks/Appointments/Contacts from eReminder
- Start eReminder.
- From the popup menu of
TopBar, choose QuickBooks Integration.
Switch to Tasks/Appointments/Contacts view.
Select entries. To select multiple entries, hold down the ctrl or shift
keys to select. To select all entries, use Ctrl + A.
From the File menu, choose Export..., or click Export... in the
popup menu. Then a dialog of Export to QuickBooks IIF File will
be popup, specify the file name.
Click OK to export selected entries to file.
B. Import to QuickBooks
- Start QuickBooks.
- From the File menu, select Import, IIF Files..., then
locate the file exported.
- Click Open to open the file, QuickBooks will import the entries inside. If importing is successful, a dialog will show: "Your
data has been imported".
Import
To import to-dos/customers in QuickBooks to tasks/appointments/contacts in eReminder,
there are two major steps:
A. Export to-dos/customers from QuickBooks
- Start QuickBooks.
- From the File menu, select Export, Lists to IIF Files..., then
check To Do Notes/Customers List in Export dialog.
- Click OK, and specify the export file in Export dialog, then
click Save. QuickBooks will start to export. If exporting is successful, a dialog will show: "Your
data has been exported successfully".
B. Import to Tasks/Appointments/Contacts in
eReminder
- Start eReminder.
- From the popup menu of
TopBar, choose QuickBooks Integration.
Switch to Tasks/Appointments/Contact view.
From the File menu, select Import..., then
locate the file exported.
Click Open to open the file, eReminder will import the
to-dos/customers inside. After import, the result will show in the log view.

Some version of QuickBooks may have trouble to import IIF file with date
formation error. Please update or patch your QuickBooks to fix this error,
and make sure you operate importing/exporting in OS with the same region
settings |
