Main Menu

The following section describes the menu items contained in the Main Menu.

Menu Item Description
File
Import Import QuickBooks IIF file to Easy Tracker. Please refer to Import & Export for more detailed.
Export Export selected entries to QuickBooks IIF file. Please refer to Import & Export for more detailed.
Synchronize Select File from the menu, Point to Synchronize , you can synchronize data from Easy Tracker to Intuit QuickBooks, and vice versa.

To synchronize data from Easy Tracker to Intuit QuickBooks, please select an item (Clients, Project Categories, etc) in Easy Trackers category from the navigator first, then select one or multiple entries from the view by highlighting them, and then press the Synchronize shortcut button.

To synchronize data from Intuit QuickBooks to Easy Tracker, please select an item (Customers, Job Types, etc) in QuickBooks category from the navigator first, then select one or multiple entries from the view by highlighting them, and then click the Synchronize shortcut button.

View
Previous Go back to the previous view.
Next Go to the next view.
Refresh To retrieve the latest data of Easy Tracker and Intuit QuickBooks, please press the Refresh shortcut button. Once the Refresh button is pressed, the entries of current focused item will be updated. The latest entries retrieved from the database will be displayed in the view.
The style of Main Menu and Main Tool Bar
Standard Display Main Menu and Main Tool Bar in Standard style.
Enhanced Display Main Menu and Main Tool Bar in Enhanced style.
Flat Display Main Menu and Main Tool Bar in Flat style.
XP Display Main Menu and Main Tool Bar in XP style.
Office11 Display Main Menu and Main Tool Bar in Office11 style.
The style of Navigator
Category View List items in category view style. You can select any one of the other styles to change the display of the navigator. Once you have selected a new style, your choice will be saved and it will be the default style for the next running.
Task List List items in Task List style. The default style is task list.
Outlook List items in outlook style.
Help
Contents Show the help content of the application.
About Display the About dialog box for Easy Tracker QuickBooks Integration.

Toolbar

Toolbar contains a set of buttons that duplicate menu items for convenience. For description of toolbar buttons see the descriptions of corresponding menu items.

View Navigator

There are two folders in View Navigator: General and Tools. Clicking on a folder makes that folder active and displays the icons it contains. Selecting an icon changes the page displayed in the application area.

Application area

It shows the current selected view (e.g. Tasks, Appointments, etc.) and allows you easily interact with data of a record.

Status bar

It displays program status and other useful hints.
