Projects/My Projects

A project is a plan or proposal, a scheme, an undertaking requiring considerable concerted effort.

In CMMI models, a "project" is a managed set of interrelated resources that delivers one or more products to a customer or end user. This set of resources has a definite beginning and end and typically operates according to a plan. Such a plan is frequently documented and specifies the product to be delivered or implemented, the resources and funds used, the work to be done, and a schedule for doing the work. A project can be composed of projects.

One client may have several projects, so you can assign multiple projects to a client. If not charge for the services provided or expenses incurred, it is not necessary to assign the project to a client.

To assign tasks, users to a project, go to the Assignments view in the Projects category. To create sub-tasks (project phases, sub-system, etc), go to the Task Categories view in the Projects category. After edit, use the Assignments view to assign those task categories or tasks to a project.

How to use Projects View:

In the tool bar, you can add , clone or delete items. In the table part, you can select any item, and edit it with actions in the popup menu.
